The LA treated a crowd of over 43,00 fans to a late night treat as Howie Kendrick broke a bat slamming a walk off single in the 9th inning against Fernando Rodney.
“The big thing was to get a pitch up that I could hit. It’s always good to come through for my teammates,” Kendrick said after the game.

This is not your fathers LA Dodgers Team, in fact, it hardly resembles last years team. The team lost 17 players to trades (Kemp, Gordon, Haren) and free agency. Replacing that lot are 16 new faces to include SS Jimmy Rollins, C Yasmani Grandal and Howie Kendrick.

The LA Dodgers took their no-hit loss to the Seattle Mariners on Friday night and came back with two victories on Saturday (8-3) and Sunday (8-2) to take the mini series 2-1.
On Friday night, Jerry Hariston had three of the Dodgers 14 hits and put LA ahead with a three-run homer in the first inning after missing 16 games with a hamstring injury.
”I’ve been feeling pretty good for a while,” Hairston said. ”The biggest thing is I just want to make sure I have good at bats. ”
Helping Hariston was Clayton Kershaw who recorded seven of his first nine outs with strikeouts and had nine by the bottom of the 4th inning.
