Haristons leads Dodgers over the Mariners with 5 RBI’s

Reigning NL Cy Young award winner Kershaw strikes out season high 12 batters

The LA Dodgers took their no-hit loss to the Seattle Mariners on Friday night and came back with two victories on Saturday (8-3) and Sunday (8-2) to take the mini series 2-1.

On Friday night, Jerry Hariston had three of the Dodgers 14 hits and put LA ahead with a three-run homer in the first inning after missing 16 games with a hamstring injury.

”I’ve been feeling pretty good for a while,” Hairston said. ”The biggest thing is I just want to make sure I have good at bats. ”

Helping Hariston was Clayton Kershaw who recorded seven of his first nine outs with strikeouts and had nine by the bottom of the 4th inning.

The Dodgers begin a three-game stand against the Los Angeles Angeles beginning Monday night.
